2 months in

So I've been living alone for a little over two months now, and I've come to the conclusion:

  • As much as I'd like more room, I'm glad I didn't go too big a house... too much cleaning.
  • You can try and get ahead financially, but a bill/bills (or rates) will peg you back down.
  • If you fail at cooking, you pay for it 3 times over...

That's what I experienced/felt when I first moved in to my place by myself.... but, you pick up tricks and tips, don't have to shell out so much when you are settled in (furniture, pantry items, bits & pieces, etc) and as long as you are sensible, you will eventually come to a good place where your savings can increase.... until a new car is needed... a holiday is to be had.... 4 camera bags look cooler than the ones before.... nephews and nieces to buy pressies for.... or is that just me???
